Slingshot Software Announces Plan to Launch Retail Management Suite in First Quarter of 2010

DEDHAM, MA, DECEMBER 2, 2009 – Slingshot Software, a leading provider of web-based enterprise software solutions for mid to large sized enterprises, today announced that in 2010 it plans to release a web-based Retail Management Suite featuring web-based Point of Sale (POS), E-commerce and Call Center applications.

Slingshot’s Retail Management Suite will provide multi-channel retailers with complete visibility across the entire enterprise on one web-based software platform. The Suite will integrate seamlessly with Slingshot’s enterprise business management applications, including sales order management, procurement and requisition management, supply chain management and enterprise financial management.

The web-based Point of Sale (POS) application, currently in beta, will be released in Q1 of 2010. It will allow for all POS stations to be centrally administered and controlled. No software installation will be required "in store.” Inventory visibility across stores will be available in real time.

The suite will be further expanded with E-commerce and Call Center applications scheduled for release in Q2 and Q3 of 2010.
