GE Capital Installs Procurement Solution For 180 Service Depots

General Electric has completed live deployment of our Slingshot eCity solutions at all 180 U.S. sites in their TIP Mod business unit. General Electric is using our Slingshot eCity Request and Stock software modules to manage requisitioning and inventory / warehouse management at these sites. The solution has been fully integrated with their legacy GE corporate Oracle Purchasing and Payables systems as well as internal work management systems.

The utilization of eCity’s inventory and warehouse management functionality was optimized during 2006. This was done with a view to expanding the implementation scope to include GE’s Canadian and Mexican sites, using eCity’s multi-currency and multi-lingual capabilities. General Electric's many fold return on investment targets continue to be met with our Slingshot eCity native web supply chain solutions.
