Slingshot Adds Support for Linux OS and PostgreSQL Database Management System

DEDHAM, MA, FEBRUARY 18, 2010 -- Slingshot Software, a leading provider of web-based enterprise software solutions to mid to large sized companies, today announces added support for the Linux operating system and PostgreSQL database management system.

The addition of support for Linux and PostgreSQL now allows Slingshot to implement its applications on multiple platforms. Utilizing Mono, an open source implementation of Microsoft's .NET Framework, Slingshot Software will now be able to deliver its .NET applications to customers in a Linux environment.
