Slingshot Announces Availability of G2-17

Slingshot has announced general availability of a major release G2-17.  The new release includes 96 enhancements across 12 applications.   Highlights include a new portal application for contract manufacturing organizations, lot-control enhancements, additional material labeling flexibility, GS1 EPCIS facilities for event capture and material pedigree tracking, new alerts for late shipments or receipts, performance improvements to Slingshot’s Query Optimizer, user interface improvements and much more...

An improved Quality application accompanies this release. The testing library was expanded to cover the new functionality which was validated through the execution of 246 test scripts.  Release contents documentation and validation documentation is available for download from Slingshot’s web site.

According to Slingshot’s CEO, Paul Carr “G2-17 is our most ambitious release to date. It adds many exciting new features and continues our focus on unmatched product quality.  We are looking forward to presenting these capabilities at the upcoming American Pharma Manufacturing and Outsourcing Summit in Boston on November 18-19th at the Westin Copley Place.”
