BloodCenter of Wisconsin Selects Slingshot Software for Enterprise Software Implementation
DEDHAM, MA - SEPTEMBER 18, 2009 – It was announced today that BloodCenter of Wisconsin, a world-renowned organization focusing on blood, blood collection, disease testing, treatment and research has selected Slingshot Software to support their materials management functions. BloodCenter of Wisconsin will implement eTools, Slingshot’s proprietary application editor, as well as Slingshot’s Web-based Purchase Order Management, Inventory and Warehouse Management, and Requisition Management applications.
Slingshot applications will produce significant cost savings for BloodCenter by allowing them to tightly control supplies at both at their central warehouse and at all outlying supply depot locations, as well as key supply lot traceability and appropriately manage supplies nearing their expiration date. BloodCenter will gain visibility throughout all requisition, purchasing, receiving and supply inventory processes for radioactive and dangerous chemical materials in their facilities and reduce procurement costs by driving purchases to negotiated contracts.
