Slingshot Expands Pharma Customer Base

Sentry BioPharma provides temperature controlled GMP storage, order fulfillment, supply chain management, labeling and other services to pharmaceutical manufacturers.  Sentry operates are out of two facilities in the United States and one in Denmark providing secure storage with strict environmental controls and auditability.   Sentry has licensed Slingshot Requisition Management, Purchase Order Management, Pharmaceutical Inventory and Connect integration software.

Astellas Pharma Inc. is a Japanese multinational pharmaceutical company.  Aestellas mission is to Contribute toward improving the health of people around the world through the provision of innovative and reliable pharmaceutical products.  Astellas has licensed Slingshot Pharmaceutical Invoice and Radio Frequency modules for operation at its main North American facility in Marlboro MA.

Pharmaceutical companies are selecting Slingshot for its auditability, electronic signature capabilities and pharma specific functionality such as lot tracking, blacklisting, product testing, expiration date tracking and material status control.  Slingshot’s PharmaTrace module provides sell unit serial number tracking and depository integration required by DSCSA.  Slingshot also offers validation services and documentation including Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification test scripts.
